Date: 29th September 2012
Location: Enderby Civic Centre, Enderby, Leics, LE19 4NT
Doors will be open from 11.30am, the meeting will begin around 12 noon. Agenda and details below.
Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits will be available however, unlike previous years, lunch will not be provided. There is a Co-op just across the road and a lovely sandwich shop that makes to order at very reasonable prices.
There will also be workshops/demos after the AGM and suppliers for your glassy needs: Vickiesbeads will be selling frit and findings and Jolene Wolfe will have her twisties and shards alongside Tuffnell Glass and Lauscha.co.uk.
• Chairman’s report
• Treasurer’s report
• Membership Secretary’s report
• Matters arising from 2011 AGM
After the AGM there will be a few workshops:
• Richard Downton will be running the photography workshop – bring your own camera and discover what you can achieve in photographing your beads.
• Scarlet Leonard will be doing a workshop on using social media and search engine optimisation.
There will be a swap table for you to bring along glass, tools, etc for you to exchange goodies.
Di East’s studio will be open for torch time. We are waiving the previously-announced fee for torch time to encourage everyone to have a play and there will be mini demonstrations by some lampworkers.
Bring a bead for the bead swap!
Theme: ‘Best of British’
Beads need to be brought on the day.
Please give your entry to June Scott before or immediately after the AGM.
Beads will be anonymous for voting, but June needs to know it’s yours!
Voting will be one vote per attendee and the beads with the most votes will win. We have some goodies for the winner and two runners-up.
The day will finish at approx. 5 – 5.30 pm.
We hope lots of you come and have a great time!
