Francesca Cerreta

SnakeInitially trained as a chemist, I got quickly bored of laboratory glassware…. So I decided to learn glass-blowing (in the studio of Peter Layton in London) and then moved on to bead making with Davide Penso at the Scuola del Vetro Abate Zanetti in Murano, Venice, and with Kate Fowle.

I like the fact that a whole small world can be contained in the minute details of a single bead, and the whimsical details, that bring a smile to the wearer!

I do believe jewellery has to be unique as each of us. My passion is to design and make individual pieces. Please contact me should you wish to have something special made for yourself or a friend.(www.siriodesigns.com)

I am a member of the ISGB (International Society of Glass Beadmakers) and of GBUK (Glass Beadmakers UK).
I am also a certified teacher for silver working in PMC.
