Corina will be teaching here in the UK on the run up to the GBUK Bead Fair at Stourbridge. We are indebted to Plowden & Thompson at Dial Glass Works for making their lamp-work room available once again.
As you will appreciate, the course session demand for each of the four days will be greater than we can accommodate, at just 8 students per class.
In all probability the sessions will go quite promptly, with places going to GBUK current members. To facilitate a fair draw we’re asking members to register an interest against each of the available sessions.
At the end of March a totally independent draw will be taken and members notified promptly if they are successful. (The draw will be ratified via the President of the Salisbury and District Rotary Club Charity )
For those who are not fortunate enough to obtain a course placement, there will be additional opportunities to meet and see Corina working the torch. At a demo evening ( Saturday 25th August, see below) and again at our own bead fair at the Bonded Warehouse 26th August, where she will attend and sign copies of Passing the Flame.
Even if you have a copy already, then bring it along and say hello.
On the 25th August there will also be a Corina Demo Evening and Barbecue from 6pm till late evening at
Plowden & Thompson Glass Works.

- Buttoning up the Basics - shaping, dot application, stringer control….
21st August 2007 - Encasing - all the ins and outs, let’s use clear glass till we crack…
22nd August 2007 - Let’s Twist Again - fancy and frufru with complicated twisties, frits enamels…
23rd August 2007 - Florals - anything that blooms in nature can bloom in glass…
24th August 2007
Forms must be returned by Post or FAX to Ray Skene no later than Friday 30th March 2007 (details on the application form)
